Broker's Comments
Built in South Africa, this Bruce Roberts designed Mauritius 43 was sailed to the UK where she was impounded, for non payment of VAT, purchased by her second owner she was then sailed by a family of 4 from the UK through the Pacific Islands
and eventual to Thailand.
She was bought by her present owner as a project, who now finds himself with two boats undergoing re fit and a full time job managing another and so is offered for sale in her present condition, or at an increased price as work progresses. The mast has been repainted and overhauled
5 / 6 / 11 Update Mast has been re stepped and work continues on the interior refit.
15 / 9 / 11 Update from owner: Recently there has been a new mainsail cover made and bimini cover has been fitted to the yacht , also the Gas Stove has been re-installed . A new stainless steel arch has been installed on the yacht which carries 3 solar panels these will be wired in this week..
Nearly all the wiring has been completed i will keep updating you as to how the work progress's ; auto pilot works great it is an Autohelm 7000 steered really well down and back from Langkawi ; Steadfast was sitting on 7 to 7.5 knots SOG all the way hitting 8 knots at times .
I am hoping to start getting the deck painted by the end of this month.
