Broker's Comments
Originally built as Windsprite for Bruce Banks in 1974. We understand the main structure was built in the USA with completion by Morgan Giles in Warsash, UK. She raced successfully as a One Tonner in the Championships of 1974, before Bruce Banks refitted her for the '75 season with her original sail plan. In this guise she won many cups during the 1970's. Re-named and refitted by her second owner she still proved very competitive and twice won the EAORA Class 1 Champion ship. She has cruised extensively (Algarve) with her present owner for the last eight years in addition to winning the silver in club races. Her owner states "She is a fantastic boat to sail and very good to windward. She is easily sailed shorthanded and we normally cruise with just three people". This yacht is presently undergoing her winter re-fit and is only for sale due to her owner having recently purchased a Mini-Transat (and two boats are always one too many!).
