Broker's Comments

Boatshed Dartmouth are pleased to offer for sale a Cobra 850. The Cobra 850 has been summed up as a ‘steady, sedate and spacious, but slightly sporty too’ (Practical Boat Owner review August 1998) and still has a dedicated following supported by an active owners association. Around 700 were built and the majority were bilge keels (as this example is). I can see why owners like them so much with a deep safe cockpit, wide clear decks, outboard rigging and a low coachroof allowing easy access forward. Down below the headroom is good throughout and stowage is no problem with lockers everywhere. This Cobra 850 has a really major benefit – the Nanni engine that was professionally installed in 2008 and has just 146 hours on the clock. With all the great advantages of the Cobra, plus the new engine this represents a fantastic opportunity.
