Broker's Comments
The Contessa 34 was designed by Doug Peterson as an Offshore One Design. I have sailed these types of boats and I think she was one of the best of her generation. Even today, the windward performance is impressive, especially in a blow. Contessas always have a good reputation for being well made and designed boats.
This one has been well cared for and carefully refurbished by her owner, she has a new electrical system, a good wardrobe of sails and a clean, comfortable interior.
Today she fills the gap offering both good cruiser and club racing abilities, often outperforming a lot of the more modern boats.
Well worth viewing and realistically priced.
