Broker's Comments

This no-nonsense classic Defever has had the same devoted owner for 25 years! Featuring dependable 120 hp Ford Lehmans, she is keel cooled like all the commercial Alaska fishing vessels. No salt water has seen the inside of this boat!

Trolling at low speeds on one engine she is easy to maneuver with her custom oversize stainless steel rudders designed specifically for this purpose.

A knowledgeable fisherman and outdoorsman, the owner has outfitted her as the ultimate Alaska adventure boat. She features a strongly-built custom aft hardtop that covers the whole cockpit for protection in any weather. The RIB stows up here out the way but is ready to launch with its own crane when needed. Outfitted to fish and crab she has a custom aft davit system for hauling pots! There is plenty of space for any outdoor activity with her large uncluttered cockpit. The massive flybridge is easy to reach from this covered deck via a short set of steps to complete this very functional use of all her topsides space.

And what could be better after a day of adventure on the water than to warm up beside the beautiful and functional fireplace.

She is the perfect boat for someone who wants a solid Inside Passage machine without breaking the bank.
