Broker's Comments

This ia an excellent opportunity to own a Waterbased Hotel Business on a Dutch barge cruiser.Beautifully Converted to a hotel to a very high and impressive Standard This barge can be sold as a on going business, the owner is very willing to pass on all the existing contacts she has made to the new owner. This Dutch barge would make a excellent live aboard. There is also a Mooring which is paid in full until November this year. This barge has recently been dry docked re plated and blacked. Actief celebrated her centenary year in 2007. Constructed as a cargo vessel in 1907 she spent the first 70 years plying her trade on the other side of the English Channel. Brought over to the UK in 1976 she was converted into a luxury hotel barge and has been refurbished and updated regularly since then. In the winter of 2005/6 new marble floored bathrooms and air conditioning were installed and 2007/8 saw a major refit and systems upgrade. This would be a very spacious live aboard houseboat or it could be transformed back into a dutch barge. The price of this boat has been adjusted as a quick sale is required.
