Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered. This Fairey Fisherman boat, is now ready to depart for wheresoever her new owner desires. Her pedigree is well established and the Fisherman variant of the famous cold moulded boats range of the Fairey company is a sought after vessel. At one time Fairey were the largest boat builder in Europe in terms of numbers and types available .This particular example has been a labour of love for her owner and she is ready to go. She has a delightful interior that is spacious and light. Forrard a V Berth and in the saloon a generous double all warmed by a delightful and highly efficient charcoal burner. There is pressurised hot water and a shower. But beneath the boards a solid Perkins 4108 has been fully serviced and prepared. There is so much about this boat that appeals but her atmosphere is lovely, a real comforting boat. She has a generous well cockpit that is fitted well and a new cover enclosing same. She is under 10K, and a great adventure awaits at an affordable price. How nice to be able to enjoy your boating at a price that wont break the bank and in apparently great condition. And a head turner, with her tan sails and blue hull, she sailed past the other day and I thought what a delight, she looks right and generally speaking thats means she is right. And she can take the ground with her additional side keels, and that is a huge advantage to the cruising sailor and its not unknown for the canals either! In September 1965 YM ran an article on this boats shakedown cruise around the coast of Ireland and in 1969 she cleared French Customs on her way to the Med. She has toured the french canals and Holland once already and is raring to go again in her renovated condition. Go on, your means awaits your grand adventure.
