Broker's Comments
The Fastnet 34 really is a very impressive yacht. Designed originally as a IOR rated ¾ tonner she was widely acclaimed as a fast, spacious and comfortable yacht ready to take on serious racing or as the current owner has done, long distance cruising. What I liked most about this Fastnet is the layout both above and below decks. Above decks the flush deck layout is clean and uncluttered. Hallyards lead aft through recesses in the main hatch to appear directly above the cockpit bulkhead. Perfect for short handed sailing. It might be expected to be dark below but as you can see from my photographs she is very light and spacious as well. The nav station is just great with ample room for all the nav gear. And just look at the instrumentation there - mostly B&G that was installed by the current owner at a cost of over £4000. The galley is spacious, with two sinks and onboard this one is a good sized fridge to starboard and plenty of stowage space everywhere. In summary, an impressive racing cruiser with plenty of space and well equipped.
