The engine is a marinised ford diesel of 40 hp through a paragon hydraulic 3:1 box (new about two years ago) driving a 18" feathering "kiwi prop" all of which gives a comforting amount of oomph!

The hull was professionally built by Ferro Cement Marine services in 1980, signed off by Lloyds on 15/04/1980. The hull was commissioned for the owner who sadly became ill and never actually started the fit out. Jeremy Swadling bought the hull in around 1990 and had her fitted out with a launch and commissioning survey in May 1994.
