Broker's Comments

Mistress Wilful is the star of her own television series, cruising Wales and Ireland.
She was chosen for her sea keeping qualities and the fact that she is a good looking yacht.
The Halcyon 27 was designed by Alan Buchanan, who was one of the best British yacht designers of his time. She is extremely well built which shows today as she has passed the test of time.
As a Star, her television company keeps her in the manner to which she has become accustomed to. She is lovingly looked after and her engine is regularly serviced and winterised. Her hull has been painted and anti-fouled and the woodwork re-varnished. In 2014 she had new rigging and a new genoa, sprayhood and dodgers fitted, the stern tube was changed and new anodes fitted.
She is more pampered than many other stars but she gives much more that they can in returning her crew home safely in gale force conditions.
She has 4 berths in 2 separate cabins, a 20hp engine capable of 7.5 knots if needed. This is probably the best Halcyon 27 available today.
