Moving into the saloon you find the galley to port and a convertible dinette to starboard. The galley includes a three burner propane counter top stove and an under counter convection oven / microwave. There is also an under counter freezer/refrigerator.

The dinette converts to a double berth with the teak table that drops down. Forward of the dinette is the built-in helm seat with a hinged seat that creates a bolster for leaning back while standing. Opposite the helm is a large companion seat.

Moving into the forward stateroom the head is located to starboard and the separate shower compartment to port. The berth is an off center double with access to both sides.

The Helmsman Trawlers 31 Flybridge Sedan is an updated version of the Camano 31, with the same well-regarded hull design, and built from the same mold.

The hull and deck are readily recognized as derived from the Camano, but the interior, flybridge and construction methods are totally different. Many of the changes came from interviews with Camano owners, and include:
-- A fixed helm seat
-- A forward-facing companion seat.
-- A larger sleeping area with a double berth
-- A separate shower
-- A covered aft deck
-- A larger holding tank.
-- A larger galley and refrigerator.
-- A proper radar arch

All of these items were included in the Helmsman
31 plus a much better finished interior, flybridge and cockpit.

I believe the most important improvements were the up galley and the larger berth area. This is truly a different boat. Including teak and holly decks the entire interior is finished in wood. The window design is updated too. I could go on and on but please go tp our photo section of the listing for over 87 pictures, a video and 360 degree videos.

Moorage is available for this boat, in Anacortes WA - Monthly $439.00.

The Helmsman 31 is located at our docks here in Seattle. Please call for a time to view it.
