Broker's Comments

At a time when other British Yards were pulling away from the smaller, family yacht market, Hunter Yachts were thriving with the Horizon range and for very good reasons. They are tough, well designed, modern yachts that escape the tag of 'caravan on the water' which had sadly been used to describe other competitors products. Based on a successful and popular performance hull (Sonata and Duette in the case of the Horizon) these little cruisers really sailed whilst providing modern creature comforts below decks. The example we offer for sale has been lightly used and is in good average condition for her age. Her sails appear to be in good order, her engine installation is good and she has been re-rigged this season. A recent survey (May 2013) should set most minds at rest and all that I would like to see would be a hull polish and internal valet before the start of the new season.
