Broker's Comments

Hunter Yachts have brought sailing yachts within reach of thousands. Whether factory-completed or finished as kits in owners’ back gardens, they represented great value for money. The designs were modern and radical for the time. Above all, they sailed well. The Horizon 26 was the first of the new breed. This example is fitted with 9.8HP petrol outboard located in a well in the port cockpit locker. Outside, she looks clean and tidy, but could use some updating. Inside, there is room for improvement in the furnishings and fittings, but the core of the vessel lies in her design. Rewarding to sail, and economical to buy, this is an ideal boat on a budget for someone prepared to contribute the proverbial TLC.
