Broker's Comments

Just the job for round and about the Solent area, this Hunter Horizon 273 for sale with Boatshed Port Solent is a quick sailer, she is well appointed, well looked after and will make a great family cruiser. Hunters are well known as having a fair turn of speed, so you’ve got the best of both worlds really.

Hunter supplied what they called “sailaway” kits, so all the structural work was done by the factory, and only the internal features were left to the new owner. So, in this boat some of the woodwork is obviously home finished, but the galley and bunks are factory finished (check out the photos) and the saloon and cabin area is well laid out. The headlinings around the saloon windows could be finished better, but hey, look at the price! These boats are selling for between £16 and £17k – you could own this really well presented boat for just £15950!

Great accommodation – the after cabin is more roomy than one might expect, and the galley is really pretty good. I like the chart table, not a bad size for a small boat, and a decent amount of storage underneath.

This is a great boat for a couple with little ones, well capable of doing a bit of distance, or she is just right for fettling about in the shallows, drying out to her own anchor – lovely!
