Broker's Comments

There is something about the shape of this boat that looks just right. Out of the water, you can fully appreciate her graceful lines, with hints, I think, of the teardrop shape of a dolphin, reinforced by the tail-fluke-shaped skeg and rudder. Fanciful? Perhaps, but to any eye, she looks the splendid sea-keeping boat she is, with her graceful sheer and tapering exit lines. Hurleys have a reputation as tough, well-mannered and thoroughly seaworthy little boats. There is a safe, deep cockpit, with high coamings and roomy lockers. Access to the Yanmar engine is good, both from the front with the companionway stairs removed, and through a dedicated hatch at the bridge-deck. Inside there is full standing headroom, thanks to a lower than average cabin sole. No pictures are currently available of the upholstery; the cushions are stored elsewhere whilst the boat is out of the water. Sure, she would benefit from some cosmetic work and some updating, but the quality of the design and the solidity of its build shines through.
