Broker's Comments

In 1965 Winston Churchill just missed out on the launch of this beautiful McGruer and Cosmonaut Leonov would have found it far more of a pleasure than his spacecraft ( if not quite so exhilrating!) Everything about this boat oozes quality, character & charisma. She looks sleek & stylish and offers great space for cruising. The vessel also boasts many years of triumphant racing in Welsh & Irish waters. The solid timbers give the interior a soothing, warm feel and certainly earns the renowned respect of a James McGruer design. She benefits from a new (2005) Yanmar engine and a Brunton Autoprop. The hull is beautifully varnished every year & the vessel is wintered on the hard every year and it has a 2009 survey too.
