Broker's Comments

They don't build them like this anymore! This boat was built by Anderson's of Whitstable for the Admiralty and her original role was to tow out targets for gunnery practice. The build quality was excellent; the hull is extremely solidly built with large grown oak frames supporting Iroko planking. In later life she was used for net fishing and had the decks and cockpits sheathed for this purpose. In recent years a new Ford Sabre engine was fitted and then fully reconditioned in 2010 (see photos). Her current owner also owned the boat some years ago and bought her again in 2007; he is now selling her very reluctantly due to ill health.
