Broker's Comments

The Mitchell 31 is a highly regarded work-horse with excellent sea-keeping abilities. This particular one has been in a ware house for 18 years. Therefore her GRP and general structure is in superb condition, despise her age. The motor has only 800 hours on it when one considers its life expectancy is 12000 hours, it is fair to say there is plenty of reliable work still ahead of it. If there are any faults they are only minor and on a boat of this type not that important, i.e. the cockpit cover being slightly faded and the woodwork might benefit from being re-varnished. On balance with a small amount of work she will be the finest boat of her age one is likely to find.
