The Moody 27, built by Marine Projects, offers a large well planned interior in a 27 foot yacht, with modern lines. She is capable of a good turn of speed, either under sail or motor. She is easy to handle, in and out of the marina berth or entering a crowded harbour. She has the advantage of bilge keels, making drying harbours or moorings available. With her reduced draft, you can explore the upper reaches of the estuary, rivers or even pop over to the French canals.
This boat has been looked after and updated. In 2008 she had new windows and a forward hatch fitted, she was reupholstered, new batteries fitted, new spray dodgers and her bottom was copper coated. In 2009, she has had a new compass radio and interior lights fitted. The engine has been recently serviced and a pre heater fitted.
She requires some varnishing around the galley area and has some scratching on the hull but she is competetively priced and is a desirable vessel. Moodys are a very sought after family boat.
