Broker's Comments
This is perhaps the best Springer I have ever seen, beautifully fitted with mod cons normally only found on far larger vessels. Nick-named the Tardis by it's present owners, it is perfect for long term cruising or even a first live aboard. I have never seen a boat at any price with a panelled out well deck area!
Entry is from the generous rear deck, perfect for entertaining guests, into a well specified kitchen compete with fridge/freezer and well sized gas cooker and hob.
The saloon has generous seating for 5-6 on facing sofas, warmed by a Boatman stove in the winter. The beautiful upholstery was new last year. The tumble drier pictured is not included with the boat but would allow for an additional seat to be fitted (fabric with boat) for an additional seat that would additionally allow for 2 single berths.
Moving forward, the louvred doors open into a well sized shower room with full sized tray and the ubiquitous and ever reliable Thetford cassette loo. Hot water is provided by Bosch instantaneous gas boiler.
The well deck area, complete with cratch cover and tastefully panelled in tongue and groove currently contains a twin tub washing machine (not included with sale) but this area could happily manage a table and two chairs for al fresco wining and dining.
The electrical system on this boat is first rate, with 3 domestic batteries charged either by alternator or the Victron inverter/charger that supplies juice to the fridge and television. Also included is a Kipor suitcase generator, well thought of in boat circles for their reliability and quiet running.
Structurally, this boat had a new base plate and sides fitted in 5mm steel along with a new super structure in 2010-2011. It was blacked 10 months ago and painted and sign written in June this year. The BMC engine was rebuilt 3 years ago.
