Broker's Comments
This Orkadian 23 was originally purchased for use in the waters off the West Coast of Scotland as a Coastguard Launch; they are therefore off course capable seaworthy vessels. This one has now been in private ownership for some time and the owners have continued to look after and upgrade her.
The enclosed wheelhouse has seating for two and very good headroom of over 6ft. The cabin area will sleep two when required; there is a separate heads compartment and also a galley with gas hob. As you would expect the cockpit is one of the main features kitted out in a workman like manner with plenty of room for fishing; it also has and electric capstan with foot switch this was fitted in 2008 and has a self-launching bow roller.
The Volvo Diesel and Out Drive had over £4000 spent on it in 2008/9 and it has been maintained by the local marine engineers since then.
