Originally a 38m barge by Schneider built in 1950 converted to a 29.5m floating cruising home by the present owners with a chalet style superstructure (collapses for navigation on canals). The original cargo floor has been used after having insulation laid under. Rockwool and spray foam has been used to insulate hull sides and roof.

Broker's Comments

A tastefully converted live aboard barge on a 29.5m hull that has blended original features with a tasteful modern conversion. The loft lounge opens straight onto the deck terrace for convivial entertaining. This is a family home with the possibility of a garden mooring in the south of France and is also capable of taking you most places on the European system.
