This Powles 42 is a very spacious centre cockpit cruiser that would lend itself very well to cruising with a large family or indeed would make a great live-aboard.
Built by Jack Powles & Co of Wroxham and designed as a luxury cruiser, these craft have carried generations of holiday boaters and proud owners along our Broads waterways and were a favourite with hire operators due to their strength and durability.
Entering the craft you are struck by the sheer size of the saloon and galley area, all well laid out and functional and with a separate heads.
Stepping up to the cockpit with great views all around and everything to hand with access to the BMC engine, batteries, electrical systems and access to the sidedeck either side.
The helm is uncluttered and quite basic but functional.
Then down to the forward port and starboard cabins , another heads, a shower room and then finally to the forward cabin itself.
Ok, the decks need a lick of paint and a general wash and brush up would not go amiss but otherwise, a very tidy and useable craft.
The owner is seeking a swift sale and this Powles 42 is priced accordingly.
With broads toll paid to 2011, a mooring available by separate negotiation and BSS until 2013 means that you just need insurance and you are away, call Steve at Boatshed Suffolk to arrange your viewing.
