Broker's Comments

This boat has been viewed and photographed by Alan West of Boatshed Portsmouth. Register or log in to see 49 more photos of this boat. O.K., so you're not going to win any races with this one (actually you might - she's entitled to a very generous PY number). What I mean is, she's not the fastest boat on our books. But speed is not what a Snapdragon is about. Her strengths are about getting you there, safely, spaciously and, yes, sedately. She's substantially made. While there's no Kevlar in the construction she seems pretty bulletproof all the same to me - the hull lay-up and the joinery inside is impressive. There's bags of room for four and she can sleep six provided you're friendly with each other. Her owner has had her for seventeen years, but is now retiring from sailing, so she's reluctantly offered for sale. Her new owner will get a solidly-built, well cared-for, honest cruiser that won't set the world alight but just may win her way into the affections of a new generation of family sailors. And it's not every boat that has gimbled whisky-glass holders. These boat details are subject to contract.
