Broker's Comments

This Sole Bay 36 Ketch has been in the same safe hands for over 35 years and has been extensively traveled.
She has now had a major overhaul to create a perfect character yacht that would not only serve as an Ocean going vessel but would also make an excellent liveaboard for someone looking to take a new direction.
On deck she has had a major refit that has never been flown in a breeze including masts, boom, running and standing rigging along with a stack of sails that as you can see from the main shot are stunning.
The interior has been transformed and now offers flexible accommodation throughout.
The boat has also been completed stripped back to bare wood and has been recaulked and all the seams have been traditionally payed with White Lead paste and putty. the new pictures show her new colours and the white gloss finish has transformed her.
The deck area is about to be finished and I will add pictures to the listing once this is complete.
Below deck that forward cabin has been transformed and there is a new galley with cooker , basin and storage below.
the engine has been overhauled and with the addition of a new starter motor , some new batteries, a clever piece of wiring to the alternator she starts on the first turn and is a real power house for this lovely boat.
Rewired , new interior lights, painted and oiled woodwork, new bilge pump and some new electronic make her great value for money.
If you want to come and see her please contact me to make an appointment.
