Broker's Comments

First of all, apologies are in order to lovers of beautiful yachts; circumstances conspired to make it impossible to get a good main photograph of this lovely vessel. However, if you’re in the market for a serious fast cruiser, you probably know already what a Sweden Yacht looks like. Certainly, I liked the look of this boat as soon as I saw her. She looks fast and business-like. The hull has a wonderfully sharp entry to part the waves, and the exit lines are remarkably slender for a boat beamy enough to accommodate an after cabin capacious enough to provide three berths. The rig is powerful and substantial, with a keel-stepped mast, running backstays and an inner forestay. The double spreaders have little or no rake, so the boom can go right out to help her pick up her skirts on a broad reach or run without fear of chafing the sail. The laid-teak deck looks safe and secure, with the shallow coach-roof blending seamlessly into the foredeck, contributing greatly to the boat’s sleek looks. Below decks there is standing headroom throughout the saloon. The quality of joinery is superb throughout. Pride of place is given to the navigation station, with its excellent outward-facing chart table and its dedicated (and decidedly comfy) swivelling chair. The galley is generously proportioned, with plenty of workspace, ample storage and a whacking great fridge. Proper lockers abound throughout. This is a boat designed for serious sailing; she looks quick, and she’ll look after you, too. These boat details are subject to contract.
