Over 200 Trintella 29's were built and they are considered one of the greatest E.G. Van de Stadt designs, with her seaworthiness being amply proved. Trintella was first designed as a family cruising boat which two people can handle easily under all normal conditions and she has no vices at all. Her long keel gives her good directional stability and she can be sailed efficiently with any of the self-steering gears currently in production.

Reinforced GRP is used for the Tyler hull and the one-piece deck moulding built under Lloyd’s supervision. Joinery, both above and below decks, is in satin finished oiled teak or afromosia - pleasant to live with, taking the starkness out of the modern construction techniques used.

Broker's Comments

This is an excellent example of these fast and seaworthy yachts, well known and much admired on the west coast of Scotland. She has been much upgraded and comes with a comprehensive set of sails and low engine hours. With good headroom in the saloon she is quite spacious for her day. She is an ideal cruising yacht for two people but is also great for single-handed adventures, having been set-up with windvane and autopilot self steering.

Reluctantly for sale due to owners illness.
