The heavily constructed Classic 40 Convertible played a large role in Viking reputation as a quality builder. Boasting an aggressive profile and rugged hull construction, the Viking 40's cockpit and interior are big for a 40 footer. She has balsa cored hull sides, of which Viking was one of the early production builders to pioneer this technology. Steel engine mounts were also deployed in the 40 Convertible, which have now become a Viking trade mark.

Broker's Comments

This classic 40 Viking Sportfish was repowered in 2003 with new 3126TA Turbo Cats (not rebuilt), that now have 380 hours on them. A new Northern Lights Generator was also added in 2003, which now has 470 hours on it.

This Classic Viking sportfish is mechanically updated and ready to fish or cruise far offshore. The exterior is in great shape and shines like a newer vessel. All she needs is a little interior updating.

Priced to sell, owner open to offers.

When you are ready to look at this fine vessel in person or if you simply have questions, I can be reached at the contact info below.
