Broker's Comments

This is where the Westerly story began!
A safe, rugged, family bilge keeler with lots of life left in her. Ideal starter boat for a couple with young kids. Creek crawl, play Swallows and Amazons, picnic on beaches, explore the coastline of our beautiful National Park, even cross to Devon or Ireland when you've built up the experience level! In fact early models of this very yacht 'did' the Atlantic from West to East - simpler times and hardier sailors perhaps?
The Classic Westerly 22 still occupies a warm place in the heart of any traditional small yacht enthusiast and this one benefits from a powerful recent Honda 10hp motor and a complete refurbishment, including mast, spars and rigging. I sincerely doubt that there is a better example of a Westerly 22 afloat anywhere in the world!
