Broker's Comments

The Westerly Centaur is one of the most popular British yachts ever and with good reason. They sail really well have loads of accommodation and storage for their size and they were well designed and are built well. This 1977 model was a delight to look around and photograph, it is a dry as a chip with no musty smells, and the current owners who have had her for 14 years have really looked after her. In the last ten years the boat has had the hull epoxy treated, new main sail and radial genoa even though the old sails are still serviceable. They have fitted a new fuel tank, alternator, prop shaft and bearings, flexible coupling to gearbox, new cabin headlining and the list goes on. This will make a great boat for the new owner.
