Broker's Comments

Enjoying the Westerly virtues of build quality and sound design, this little vessel provides an opportunity for boating on a budget. Motor power is via the excellent Yanmar 1GM diesel inboard engine. Simple but reliable, these single-cylindered sea-water cooled engines have a splendid reputation for giving excellent service. Outside, she looks smart. She has a reassuringly deep cockpit, and feels solid underfoot, given her diminutive size. Access forward feels safe and secure thanks to the highly-effective non-slip deck finish. She is well equipped for cruising, with a wind generator to top up the batteries. The huge lazarette has room for two large gas cylinders. Below decks, there is a versatile saloon, with a classic dinette layout to starboard and the galley to port. Two quarter berths make for secure sea-berths, or can alternatively be used for storage. There is a further twin berth in the forepeak and a separate heads. Navigational aids are basic but sufficient. This is a capable pocket cruiser that should provide a generous return of fun in exchange for a modest outlay.
