The hull on this Westerly looks very nice - a sturdy vessel that has been looked after by her current owner. The hull was professionally stripped back by the Hayling Yacht company, had full osmosis treatment, was re-sheathed and then copper coated in 2012. The keels were grit blasted, treated with metprotect system. The rudder was stripped back, sheathed and apple expoxied. All receipts are available. This boat is taken out the water annually by her current owner. she was Anti Fouled - March 2013. New Glass Windows, New Hatch, and New Headlining to Main Cabin. The owner has spent over £13,000 on improvements for this vessel. A survey carried out on this vessel in 2012 showed the highest moisture reading to be 12 which is exceptionally good for a vessel of this age. The Westerly Konsort is a very solid looking sailing yacht, introduced in 1979, and remained in production until 1992/93, with over 800 built - a very popular model.

Broker's Comments

These boat details are subject to contract.
This Westerly Konsort is a particularly good looking example. Her meticulous owner has spent approximately £13,000 on improvements. The vessel is well presented, spacious and well appointed. There is excellent stowage too. The cockpit combings are deep and the large sprayhood provides excellent protection from the elements. This sailing boat is ideal for families and will provide her next owners with plenty more hours of joy. Have a look at the video and see for yourself.
