Broker's Comments
This particular steel Van Kleef 14m has proved herself a very capable and sure-footed craft. She has cruised extensively and without incident for 6 years, taking in the Atlantic coast of Spain and Portugal, The Canary Islands, crossed the Atlantic and extensively cruised the Caribbean. After a safe passage back home across the Atlantic, the skipper had 'scratched the itch' and placed her for sale.
She may not be bristling with all the modern and complicated equipment sometimes to be found on a blue water yacht, but she is sensible, practical and very business like.
She is reported to be a safe and stable home from home. From what I have seen, I have no reason to doubt that she could be launched and sailed to sunny climes right now.
