20 pre-orders for floating ‘liveable’ house yacht

Arkup, the company behind the liveable yacht series and ‘glass houses at sea’, has 20 pre-orders on the books for its new Arkup 40, with the first model due to hit the water in Q3 2022.

Different configurations of Arkup 40 are available including a one-bedroom, two-bedroom and studio layout. The Arkup 40 measures 40ft long and is 16ft wide and houses an upper deck rooftop lounge. The interior and layout design is fully customisable.

Steven Luguet, marketing and communications head at ArkUp, says: “We already have 20 pre-orders. The main pre-orders are in US, but we are able to ship worldwide.”

The company says the design epitomises its ‘live in the view’ philosophy, with the Arkup liveable yachts providing a one-of-a-kind home, guest house, floating office, gym or studio.

“Arkup 40 is the newborn in the Arkup family. Inspired by its big sister, Arkup 75, this livable yacht was designed to be our fun and friendly solution for a wider audience,” adds Luguet.

Luguet says the technological aspects and designs have been improved in the Arkup 40 and production is due to begin soon.
