UK-based supplier of deck hardware, Barton Marine, has appointed Phil Wood as its new head of sales and marketing. 

Wood will be responsible for supporting Barton’s existing distributor and dealer network, alongside working with the wider team to push forward further growth opportunities as Barton continues its ambitious expansion plans and focuses on product innovation.

Wood’s passion for the marine industry is teamed with a background in engineering and further combined with considerable business experience gained from working in senior sales and business development positions across a wide range of companies covering maritime security to yacht deliveries and outside the industry in TV production. 

Wood says: “I was immediately attracted to Barton Marine as the position combines my love of being out on the water with engineering. I have received a very warm welcome from everyone here and it is great to work in a business that is ready to take on any challenge to deliver products that meet customer’s needs.”
