The Southampton Boatshow is open for business and the Boatshed stand is buzzing. Our illustrious MD Neil Chapman was quick off the blocks with an interview for Gulf Radio and The Portsmouth News while the extended team of brokers, willing volunteers and friends were soon pressed into action by the groups of visitors wanting to learn for themselves about the Boatshed system.

One of the first visitors to the Boatshed stand was Dee Caffari, happy to catch up with the team that sold her her current Open 60, Aviva. Josh from Boatshed Plymouth was the first person to experience the RNLI's lifeboat rescue simulator and he grabbed Dee as his Coxswain. Together they plucked survivors from the water, coordinated the rescue operation with the Coastguard and returned everybody safely to dry land.

If you are coming down to the show, please stop and say hello (and if you happen to be near our vicinity at 5pm, remember the Famous Fizz @ Five - cold glass of champagne, excellent views of the show and the best welcome anywhere in the world!) If you can't make it, keep checking back here for news, views, sights and sounds from the show, with a uniquely Boatshed slant of course.
