Boot 2022: Exhibitor registration open

Exhibitor registrations to boot Düsseldorf 2022 have started, according to the organiser.

“With the restart of the water sports industry, boot Düsseldorf is also setting sail again,” says boot project director, Petros Michelidakis. “Our exhibitors and visitors can look forward to a complete program at boot 2022. We are now setting sail and working flat out to offer all water sports enthusiasts good business, new contacts and a great trade fair experience.”

Since the trade fair was last able to physically take place, boot has been active online. The bluewater seminar, organised by Hamburg-based cruising specialists Sönke and Judith Roever, was held virtually, with many potential bluewater sailors able to speak to experts for top tips and advice on preparations for an extended voyage.

In addition, together with the Association of the European Boating Industry (EBI) and the German Marine Federation (BVWW), the Düsseldorf-based company organised the digital ‘International Breakfast Meeting’, where the first European study on the impact of Covid-19 on the international boating industry was presented. From the research commissioned by EBI, BVWW and boot Düsseldorf and led by two graduates of Jade University Wilhelmshaven, boot says it is clear that the watersports industry has great potential, with the coming years looking optimistic.
