Dromeas Yachts opens new production facility

With a full order book for 2022, and more now being taken for 2023, Dromeas Yachts has opened a new GRP production facility to increase its build capacity.

The additional 7,000sqm GRP facility takes the boatbuilder’s total production capacity to 12,000sqm. Dromeas says the increase in production capacity will allow its latest vessels, the D33 WA and D33 SUV, to move to full production later this year.

The Turkish company, which produces high-performance offshore powerboats, currently spans over two production facilities.

“With the addition of the new larger facility and getting our model range into more detailed lines, this allows us to increase production and keep up with the growing demand from our worldwide distributor network,” says Dromeas Yachts’ sales and marketing director, Vicky Farrow.

This news comes as the company recently expanded into China.

“This is a key strategic moment in the aggressive growth plans of Dromeas Yachts, allowing the expansion of the company to match and keep up with the demand,” says CEO Efe Kuyumcu. “While supply chain issues continue to disrupt the marine industry, we here at Dromeas are maintaining a steady flow and ensuring all of our clients get the boats ordered.”
