Nimbus Group brand EdgeWater has appointed three new dealers for EdgeWater brand boats in the US.

L&M Marine and Day Break Marina are now exclusive certified dealers for EdgeWater powerboats in Pensacola, Florida. Pensacola is in the Florida Panhandle market, one of the top five markets for outboard sales in Florida, according to Nimbus.

L&M Marine was founded in 1985 and has since acquired Day Break Marina. Both offer a full range of services.

EdgeWater has also appointed Centerville Marina as the exclusive certified dealer of EdgeWater brand boats servicing the state of Virginia on the US East Coast. Centerville Marina is a family-owned marina that offers a full range of services.

The third new dealer is Mountain Motors and Restoration, which has a facility in New York State and one in Connecticut.

Swedish boatbuilder Nimbus Group produces and markets powerboats including the brands Alukin, Aquador, Bella, Falcon, Flipper, Nimbus and Paragon Yachts.

Earlier this year, the group acquired EdgeWater Power Boats to strengthen its presence in the US market, while also consolidating its business in the United States.

In 2022, Nimbus Group had sales of SEK1.75bn (US$160.96m) and 391 employees. It conducts business in Sweden, Finland, Poland, England, Norway and the USA.

In September 2023, the group consolidated its manufacturing of aluminium boats to an external producer in Finland. The group says this decision is part of a previously ongoing consolidation that will ultimately result in Nimbus Group manufacturing all its aluminium boats in one single facility.
