Fairline selects Lippert as roofing systems supplier

Fairline has partnered with Lippert Marine Group Europe as a key supplier within its new Roof Systems product division.

Lippert worked with Fairline to complete the design of the soft-top flybridge on the new Fairline Squadron 68, which debuted at the 2022 Cannes Yachting Festival.

The Squadron 68 features two Lewmar soft roof systems: the Lewmar RX Soft Roof and Lewmar FPX Aft Awning, to allow for flexible shading and ventilation at the touch of a button. Fairline has previously worked with Lippert’s brands Lewmar and Trend on many other product lines.

Lippert’s Lewmar FPX Aft Awning is said to allow users to shade and protect their entertaining spaces at the touch of a button. Built with stainless-steel folding arms and fittings, this roofing solution is designed for a seamless finish to the exterior, with the option of fitting an OEM moulding in place of the standard aluminium valance.

The Lewmar RX soft roof, integrated into the hardtop of the 68 model, stows away to leave a clear aperture.

Squadron 68 Exterior

Lippert’s roof systems were not the only new product specified on the Squadron 68, which also features the Trend Marine pantograph door, from a leading glass specialist among Lippert’s marine brands. The pantograph door is described as a sleek, lightweight solution to the traditional bulky GRP fittings used in this application.

“In the interest of delivering product solutions that meet the level of innovation we are currently seeing in the marine market, we are looking to continue to bring new product divisions to the arena,” says Lippert Marine Group Europe’s managing director, Matt Johnston. “Our range of roofing systems has gone from strength to strength in the past year, and we are delighted with the outcome here for Fairline. The combination of overhead and aft shading gives a compact, lightweight solution, fitting of the Squadron.”

Lippert Marine Group Europe is appearing at METSTRADE 2022, on stands 12.305 & 12.311.
