Glendinning’s new waterproof top mount controls
US-based Glendinning Products LLC has launched Genesys, a new line of top mount controls, with a smaller footprint for simpler retrofitting.
Genesys’ design offers a smaller footprint than most top mount controls allowing it to easily fit on even the most compact of helms. Genesys features high-quality stainless steel handles and a high gloss composite body. Genesys will also feature a twin handle “U” design for single-engine applications.
Following on from the recent launch of Glendinning’s CH2001 ProGrade top mount controls, the new Genesys controls will serve as the standard-level control option for a wide variety of applications from pleasure craft through to commercial vessels.
Genesys shares many of the same premium features as ProGrade including dual-channel non-contact position sensors, crisp well-defined gear shift detents and a fully IP68 waterproof rating, making it suitable for applications where the control head may be at times completely engulfed by water.
Genesys controls are available for immediate supply in new or retrofit Glendinning control system applications including inboard, outboard, sterndrive, and waterjet.
Glendinning Products currently has Genesys on exhibit at IBEX 2021, Floor 3 Booth 1025.
