Guest speakers confirmed for MTA Awards Dinner

The Marine Trades Association Awards Dinner will take place in Southampton on Monday 20 June with after-dinner speakers confirmed as Status Code 14, an endurance challenge team consisting of serving and retired police officers who are taking on a series of five extreme challenges across the globe.

The four policemen have come together to complete a number of significant physical challenges including swimming, rowing and running in order to raise funds and awareness for mental health in blue light services and men’s cancer charities.

British Marine says the MTA Awards Dinner aims to celebrate its members and businesses with the presentation of the MTA awards. This year’s event will be sponsored by Barton Marine, as well as A-Plan, Marine Resources, Barrus and ASAP Supplies.

Marine Resources CEO and founder James Ward says: “The MTA and its members make up the most diverse group of marine business that I know of.  They are the foundation of our great leisure marine industry and without doubt the most passionate. It’s our pleasure to support such an important group and we are looking forward to what is always one of the best events of the year.”

The deadline for nominations for MTA business of the year, personality of the year and the David Coleman excellence in exporting awards is Friday 10 June 2022. To book or submit an award nomination, contact Amy: acox@britishmarine.co.uk.

The MTA Awards Dinner 2022 will take place at the Grand Café, Southampton on Monday 20 June from 7pm.
