Monzó Yacht Painting is currently working on the 25.40m racing yacht Vera and will apply antifoul and paint to the hull, deck and mast in preparation for this year’s Palma Vela regatta, while there are also plans to refit her wooden aft deck at Varadero Valencia.

The experienced team at Monzó, a company operating at Varadero Valencia, has recently carried out some important paint projects for various high-profile racing yachts – including Cannonball, Flying Nikka, Camiranga, Vera and WindWhisper.

S/Y Cannonball, a regular on racecourses and winner in the Maxi 2 at the 2022 Les Voiles de Saint Tropez, was based at Varadero Valencia for Monzó Yacht Painting to fair her hull and paint her transom extension with Awlrip G Line topcoat, before setting sail for Saint Tropez in 2022.

In 2022, Flying Nikka, the world’s first foiling mini maxi, designed by Mills Design and built by King Marine, commissioned Monzó Yacht Painting to carry out all her paint jobs, with a final finish completed in exposed matte carbon prior to her launch and resounding debut on the world’s top race courses.

Meanwhile, S/Y Camiranga was hauled out at Varadero Valencia in 2022 for Monzó to apply antifouling and polish the hull, including her preparation for her participation in Les Voiles de Saint Tropez.

Monzó Yacht Painting has carried out major projects on newly built racing yachts in partnership with the King Marine boat yard, such as all-over fairing and topcoat application. Yachts such as Deep Blue, Bronenosec, Black Pearl, Bad Pack, TP-52 Azzurra, TP-52 Onda, Teasing Machine were also painted by the team before being launched.
