ISA Yachts launches new model

ISA Yachts, a brand of Italian superyacht builder Palumbo Group, has announced details of the latest model in the Granturismo line: the ISA GT 33.

The 33-metre superyacht has exterior and interior design by Architect Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design, while the naval engineering is by ISA Yachts.

ISA says the ISA GT 33 is inspired by previous models in the Granturismo line and tries to incorporate the line’s “incisive shapes, the innovations and the original details.”

Renderings released of the new model show the exterior design portrays a coupé effect thanks to a pronounced bow, and the superstructure located toward the stern and the arches connecting all the decks. On both the main and the upper deck, continuity between the indoor and outdoor layout is achieved through the use of the same materials.

The cockpit sofas on the main deck have been designed to avoid obstructing the view from indoor. Typical of all ISA GT projects, the upper deck features a circular dining room which, thanks to the 180-degree sliding window, opens the view of the cockpit, to help bring the outdoors in. There is also a hydro-massage swimming pool in the bow.

ISA GT 33 can accommodate up to 10 people, with the owner cabin located on the main deck forward, while two VIP cabins and two double cabins with twin beds are below deck. There is also room for five crew members.

With an aluminium hull and superstructure, ISA GT 33 is equipped with twin MTU 1620hp engines powering it to a top speed of 21 knots and a cruise speed of 19 knots.

In July, MIN reported that Extra Yachts, another brand of the Palumbo Superyachts network, launched its new X115 Triplex model. The exterior was designed by Francesco Guida, while the Milan-based Hot Lab studio took care of the interior.
