Join British Marine at this year’s Crick Boat Show for information and advice on everything from British Marine membership services and career opportunities in the inland sector, to ways to promote your business and advertising with onthewater.co.uk, our one stop shop to help you gain new customers.

Following the ‘Virtual Crick’ of 2021 the team at British Marine are looking forward to heading to the show, which takes place over the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Weekend (2 – 5 June) at Crick Marina, to talk to businesses and inland boating enthusiasts alike about all things inland.

If you’re thinking about a career in the inland sector, whether you’re preparing to leave school or looking to change careers, visit their stand to discuss the opportunities available to you. They can provide you with information on apprenticeship and graduate opportunities or discuss how your existing skills and experience could be transferrable and beneficial to the sector.

If you’re looking for ways to promote your inland business talk to them about onthewater. The onthewater website provides a one-stop-shop for people looking to find their next boating adventure and by listing your company on the site you can showcase your company to a whole new audience.

The show also provides the perfect opportunity to meet with members of the British Marine team.  Throughout the show they will have representatives from our Technical, Membership, Training and Environmental teams available who will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

Alongside the in-show activity, British Marine will be hosting a networking event on 2 June, for both members and non-members, where they will be launching the Inland Boat Building Code of Practice which outlines the support available to companies to help navigate the rules following Brexit.

“Crick Boat Show is a must attend event for British Marine. It provides the perfect opportunity for us to engage with businesses and representatives from the sector as well as to speak to people with a genuine passion for all things inland boating,” commented Lesley Robinson, CEO, British Marine.

You will find the British Marine Team on stand Q5, which they are sharing with The Green Blue, the environmental programme of British Marine and the RYA. For more information about the Crick Boat Show and to book tickets, camping pitches and moorings, visit www.crickboatshow.com
