Multiple new product lines from Barton Marine at METSTRADE

Deck equipment manufacturer, Barton Marine will be launching three new product lines at METSTRADE, 15-17 November, the Skylock Block 800, Windicator and Barton Flush Mount Deck Plates.

SkyLock Block 800

Designed for various lifting tasks in both the leisure and commercial environments, this self-locking block is engineered for a SWL of 800kg, working with lines of between 8 – 12mm diameter. Robust 316 stainless steel construction and GRP reinforced nylon side plates is said to make the new version a highly durable block with Barton’s unique self-locking cam action built in for peace of mind when hauling seriously heavy items.

Windicator

This mechanical wind direction indicator for sailing dinghies and yachts. Manufactured with a durable construction, while keeping weight to a minimum (22-63.5g), it’s said to be 100% accurate in two knots of wind.

It is available in five versions, each individually optimised with mast or goose neck fittings for Optimists, Lasers, Aeros and Toppers, alongside two offshore racing models for yachts between four to eight metres and another for those over eight metres.

Barton Flush Mount Deck Plates

Supplied with screw in fixing eyes, the Barton Flush Mount Deck Plate is constructed of highly polished 316 grade stainless steel and is available in three sizes (M8, M10 and M12).

Designed to remove trip hazards on deck when not in use, it has a sealed internal thread to prevent water ingress under the hull.  With a SWL of 2500kg, Barton says that with the removable fixing eye in place, its deck plates are ideal for fixing deck mounted boarding ladders, boat tie downs and stand-up blocks, as well as securing life rafts and diving tanks into position.

“At Barton we aim to produce an extensive range of well-designed and innovative products to act as a one-stop-shop for owners of boats up to 50ft,” says Christian Brewer, Barton Marine sales manager. “We are excited to introduce these varied new product lines to meet the demands of the discerning sailor.  The team have spent the last twelve months extensively testing these new additions to ensure they achieve Barton’s high-quality standards, and we are delighted to be able to launch them at METSTRADE 2022.”

All the new Barton products will be on display at METSTRADE on stand 01.478.
