Brunswick Corporation’s newest boat brand, Navan, is to launch in Australia in February 2024. The range will be imported exclusively by Collins Marine — the local distributor for the Arvor and the Quicksilver range of boats.

The initial models from Navan, the S30 and the C30 (pictured above), were officially launched at the Cannes International Boat Show 2023. Benoit Verley, president of the Venture Boat Group, highlighted that the models were developed “after extensive consumer research and product development”.

First to arrive in Australia will be the Navan C30, with customer viewing beginning in Sydney in February.

“Collins Marine has a long and successful history in Australia,” says Peter Collins, CEO of Collins Marine. “We imported our first Arvor model 25 years ago and a decade later we added the Quicksilver range of boats to our lineup. This allowed us to cover the serious fishing market, and those that are after a more leisurely cruise.

“After testing this new Navan range with the Brunswick International dealers and seeing the public reaction in Cannes, I feel it has again raised the bar in performance, comfort, and innovation, and we are looking forward to showing the result to the Australian market.”

The S30 (below) and C30 (above) both have a twin-step hull, commonly used in racing boats, which Brunswick says reduces drag, making the boats faster and more fuel efficient. The forward cabin of each has a double berth, a large skylight, generous storage, a toilet with an electric flushing system and a pressured hot water shower, making it suitable for families and guests seeking the thrill of the water without sacrificing comfort.

Both the C30 and S30 models come standard with technology including the Simrad NSX GPS and chart plotter, C-Zone operating system, and options for various Mercury outboard engines, including the 300hp V8, 400hp V10 or twin 225hp V6, or twin 250hp or 300hp V8 Verados.

The C30 enclosed cabin model includes two rows of seating with port and starboard fibreglass doors exiting on deck. The aft salon flip-up window opens to the cockpit.

The S30 fibreglass T-top offers integrated acrylic windows, rocket launcher rod holders and a powder-coated 316 stainless steel frame. Additional features include pivoting cockpit seating with a full galley underneath, and a two-way convertible cockpit.
