Advance Yacht Systems has entered into an exclusive distribution partnership with Finnish company Remoran, which develops and manufactures marine hydrogenerators. Marine equipment provider Advance Yacht Systems will be the sole distributor of Remoran’s products in the UK and Ireland.

Remoran says its marine hydrogenerators provide sustainable and cost-effective power for sailors who want to reduce their environmental impact while sailing.

The Remoran Wave hydrogenerators can generate up to 300W of power, allowing customers to produce their own power as they sail, without emissions or noise. Unlike traditional solar panels and wind turbines, Remoran Wave hydrogenerators can produce power even at night, when it’s cloudy and while sailing with the wind.

The Remoran Wave series of hydrogenerators is available in two models: The Remoran Wave 3GS (optimal sailing speed of 3 to 12 knots) and the Remoran Wave 3GD (optimal sailing speed of 5 to 20 knots).

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Remoran to bring their innovative marine hydrogenerators to the UK and Ireland,” said Rob Cotterill, director of Advance Yacht Systems. “As a company that is committed to providing high-quality and innovative solutions to the marine industry, we believe that Remoran’s products are an excellent fit for our customers. We look forward to working closely with Remoran to bring their hydrogenerators to the UK and Ireland.”

“We are excited to be working with Advance Yacht Systems to expand our distribution network into the UK and Ireland,” said Samuli Aura, CEO of Remoran. “Advance Yacht Systems has a strong reputation in the marine industry for providing reliable solutions. We believe that our marine hydrogenerators will be a valuable addition to their product range. We look forward to working together to bring our hydrogenerators to a wider audience.”
