Revolve-Tec appoints exclusive UK distributor
Marine Components International (MCI), supplier to the UK leisure and commercial marine market, has been appointed as the exclusive UK marine distributor for Revolve-Tec.
Revolve-Tec manufactures the Revolve-Tec Rollable Boat Hook and Emergency VHF Antenna, created from advanced rollable composite materials.
Poole-based MCI supplies a range of high-end marine products to leading yacht builders, chandlers, and shipyards worldwide.
“RevolveTec has taken a completely innovative approach to the design process of a boat hook and emergency antenna, reducing size and weight whilst increasing ease of use and overcoming storage space issues,” says MCI managing director Andy Scott. “The impressive result is a lightweight, strong, and compact boat hook and emergency antenna that are truly revolutionary and ideal for use on all craft, including yachts, tenders, canal boats, dinghies and even jet skis.”
Revolve-Tec has been recognised for its innovation and awarded Best New Product in the Safety Equipment Category at the IBEX 2022 Innovation Awards and was nominated for a DAME innovation award in the lifesaving and safety equipment category in 2021.
Revolve-Tec Boat Hook
Revolve-Tec products are widely used on cruising yachts, race yachts, sailing dinghies, tenders, canal boats and jet skis. Being easily stowed and taking up minimal space, they are said to pack down smaller than any other comparable system, saving valuable space on board.
