With many of the 437 RYA Joining Points taking advantage of April’s double commission offer, the RYA today announce that the offer is being extended to also run throughout May.

“Many of our Joining Points have been busy signing up new RYA members and we have also seen a number of new organisations join the scheme so they can take advantage of April’s double commission offer.

“With this in mind, and so that more clubs, training centres and marine organisations can take advantage of the special commission offer we have decided to extended the offer to run throughout May as well”, explained Conor Swift, RYA Membership Development Manager.

“Joining Point is our way of thanking those organisations that do a fantastic job promoting the benefits of RYA membership to their customers and signing them up as members to the association,” Conor added.

With the help of the RYA’s Joining Point programme the association is going from strength to strength seeing membership figures at an all-time high of over 110,000.  A strong membership base supports the work RYA does ensuring that legislators, regulators and other authorities understand and take account of recreational boating activity.

Joining Point provides a quick and easy way for registered organisations to encourage their members and customers to join the RYA and experience the many great benefits of membership, from specialist and technical boating advice from the RYA’s in-house experts, to access to exclusive offers and discounts from over 70 member reward partners, helping members keep down the cost of their boating.

Joining Points receive commission for every new member they sign up. Throughout April and May 2018, registered Joining Points will receive double the standard commission values of the scheme, receiving £20 commission for every family membership or £15 for every individual membership.  The commission can then be fed back in to their organisation. In 2017 the top performing Joining Point earnt £1,297.50 in commission for their organisation.

Existing RYA Joining Points don’t need to do anything to register for this offer, the double commission will automatically be applied to their account in July’s payment run. All they need to do is tell their customers about the benefits of RYA membership and get them to sign up; it’s that simple.

Each Joining Point pack provides the club or centre with the possibly of earning up to £1,000 in commission, up to £2,000 during the double commission special promotion, depending upon the number of members signed up.
